I havent really experienced any of the app-connect malfunctions this update is supposedly addressing. The wide range of app features including the digital logbook driving style analysis and nearby Volkswagen service partners are easy to use via Bluetooth. If you see App-Connect as a feature you can be sure the other Car-Net features will also be available. Keep in mind that Volkswagen Car-Net features are available on all models but not on all trim levels.
